While the winery burned down in the 2017 Atlas fire that swept thru Napa Valley, this 2013 Signorello estate Cab is an ode to yesterday. Ever evolving in the glass, it opens up with an old world, earthy complexion. But then waves of blackberry and blackcurrants start to emerge, along with chocolate and graphite notes and a dusty, tobacco element as well. A full bodied wine, really dense fruits continue to appear on the palate with blueberry and dark cherry, along with bright acidity and really well integrated, firm tannins.
