The thing I enjoy about many Napa reds is that they are very drinkable at a young age, but will also age beautifully as well. This 2019 PRV Cab Franc, although a baby, is no exception and a really nice value ($60) for something you can drink now. Blackberry, plum, violet, mint, pepper with a little earthy note, as well as nice baking spice and vanilla from the oak treatment. Medium acidity and a silky tannin structure that has a luxurious and supple mouthfeel. This punches above its weight, like a Cab Sauvignon.
